Not everyone who wants coastal Florida wants to live on the sand. Some want proximity. Some want flexibility. Some want the lifestyle without the constant exposure. Getting that distinction right — personality, lifestyle goals, financial comfort, maintenance tolerance — is what makes the difference between a house you love and a house you regret. It's the part of this job I care most about.

What I bring

Before real estate, I was an English professor — I write and communicate for a living, and I bring that analytical clarity to negotiations and to explaining what's actually happening in a transaction. Alongside teaching I was investing: buying, selling, renovating, and managing properties of my own for over a decade. I know what it feels like to have my own money on the line, and I bring that judgment to my clients' decisions.

Today I live the full coastal spectrum I sell — managing oceanfront investment property directly on the sand and living inland in a community setting. That's not a marketing line; it's how I understand the trade-offs my clients are weighing.
